I can’t tell you how good it fees to finally start wearing Autumn clothes again…
…after the in-between weather we experienced here in Ireland this August, I was more than ready to pack away all my summer clothes and dive head-first into layers, knits and cosy separates. One of the trends I’m most looking forward to this coming season has to be shearling, and more specifically, the “teddy coat.” It’s a trend I completely missed out on last year, but after doing some necessary outfit stalking on pinterest one evening, I decided that I NEEDED a little shearling in my life! I picked up this coat on he highstreet recently for a very affordable price, and I knew I was going to have fun styling it up with some accessories to complete the look.
For me, no outfit is complete without a watch, they’re the perfect mix of practicality and style, and for this look I went with a gorgeous beige strapped style from the iconic “Kalpa” collection from Parmigiani Fleurier, the luxury watch brand, and I was so excited to get the opportunity to style one of their timeless pieces into a classic Autumn/Winter look. The Kalparisma is one of the first Parmigiani Fleurier released watches, it’s an iconic model for the brand, but I decided to style it with denim and shearling to give it a more modern, street-style vibe, and I just love how they look together, don’t you?

Feminine and elegant with its iconic tonneau shape, the Kalparisma collection was launched in 2009 and the line has continued to grow ever since. It features the iconic tonneau-shaped case, a fundamental element of the Parmigiani Fleurier visual identity. I also love how the neutral-coloured strap goes with pretty much every outfit, it’s great to choose neutral colours like beige, tan, black and brown when investing in a luxury timepiece like this, as you can pair them with so many different looks. I also feel like this is a watch style that could easily be worn from day to night, making your accessory choices even easier!
