Here is the first post from my holidays in Barcelona. Its only been one day and its already wonderful! Myself and Yoseph landed in just after lunchtime today, and are staying in a beautiful converted apartment right in the centre of Barcelona, its so close to everything! The standard and quality is very impressive, as was the price, so if anyone is ever looking for something similar, let me know and I’ll pass you on the details, we are just so happy with it π
Even though were both pretty wrecked after having to get up at stupid o’ clock to start the traveling, we still wanted to make the most of what was left of the day, so after checking in and getting ourselves sorted, we headed out for some exploring! We didnt want to make any proper plans for today, as we knew we’d be so tired after traveling, so we just strolled around the Parc de Catalunia, (one of Barca’s beautiful scenic areas), and soaked up the atmosphere. Its amazing how entertaining just sitting and people-watching is in new cities, I could do it forever!
Tomorrow will be a lot more exciting however, as we are going to Port Aventura for the whole day. For anyone who doesn’t know, Port Aventura a massive Theme Park run by Universal Studios, and it has some of the best roller-coasters and rides in Europe π Its going to be such a blast!!!!I’m going to do my best to take some videos of the day (and of the trip in general) to show you all π anyhow enough of my rambling! Here’s what I wore today:
I wanted my outfit to light and airy to keep me cool, but still dressy enough to satisfy me. Its a vintage dress I snapped up on eBay ages ago, and I just love the candy-coloured stripes. Its so lovely and floaty, perfect for the hot weather. My bag is from River Island, and boasts enough sturdyness to keep my camera and lens safe, I love it to bits! My sunglasses were a gift from a friend, and my bracelets are from Penneys/Primark. What do you guys think of the look? Let me know in the comment box below!
