Video diaries are something myself and Yoseph have wanted to do for the longest time, and this summer we were determined to get around to it. Electric Picnic festival (which we went to last weekend) was the perfect place to film our first video, and I’m so happy with how it came out. We go almost every year with our friends (many of them are musicians themselves) so it’s always such a fun weekend filled with great music and cherished memories. So, I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to start this series than with this particular event!
We mainly used a GoPro Plus (available from ARGOS) which is SO much fun to film with, but we also did some filming on my Olympus Pen E-PL7. I was so impressed with the filming capabilities of the Pen, especially seen as it’s not known as a dedicated filming camera. You can read my full review of it here.
As this was our first video, of course there are lot of things we’d like to improve on, (sometimes it’s important to put the camera away and just enjoy the moment) but overall I’m pretty chuffed with our first attempt, and I can’t wait to film more of our adventures together. I also have two exciting trips coming up later on this month, and I’m planning on documenting those for you guys too, so stay tuned for more videos soon!
