Have you seen any of the “Friday Favourites” roundup posts floating about on the blogosphere recently? I always thought they were such a fun and simple way to keep readers updated on all the things you’re living, loving and lusting after, so I decided to start my own, and call it, “Loving Lately.” It will be weekly feature that includes a mix of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, events, food, and lots of other things that I might not have shared on my blog before, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
So, here’s a rundown of what I’m “Loving Lately”…
Silk and Grey Pyjamas:
Anyone who knows me well will know that I live in loungewear when at home, and I love nothing more than spending a day in my pyjamas drinking tea, watching old movies, and blogging. The lovely people at Silk & Grey sent me these silk pyjamas recently, and it was a match made in heaven. The quality is beyond compare, they feel so soft and sleek on your skin. This signature silk set is handmade from the finest silk satin, and comes in such a beautiful presentation box. They are an investment, but if you are on the lookout for some luxurious sleepwear, then look no further! I’ve always wanted a pair of silk pyjamas (I already had a silk pillowcase which I adore) and feel like an old hollywood starlet when I wear mine, even when I’m just curling up for a Netflix marathon. 30 Day Shred:
I have to make a confession, I am the absolute worst when it comes to exercise! I can never seem to get into a routine of working out, despite how many times I tell myself I will. In an effort to get my body in a bit better shape before summer time, I have started using Gillian Mitchells 30 Day Shred routine a few days a week, and for me its just the ticket. Twenty minutes of leppin’ about your room with a pair of hand-weights and a floor mat, and before you know it, its over and you can feel smug for the rest of the day. I’ve wanted to try out Italian beauty brand KIKO for a long time now, which resulted in a mini-shopping spree on their website recently. I picked up lots of lipsticks and lipliners, and I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality, especially for the price! My favourite product so far is the Automatic Precision Lipliner, its an absolute steal. I definitely recommend trying them out if you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful!
H&M’s 10th Birthday
Last week I was invited to H&M’s 10th Birthday celebration held in Sophie’s Bar in the Dean Hotel. It was such a fabulous event, I loved getting the chance to catch up with all my fashion buddies, I brought my boyfriend Yoseph along and he had a blast too. Big thanks to the H&M team for being so good to us! My favourite part of the night was getting illustrated by the super talented (and so lovely!) Conor Merriman, how cute are they? They’re currently hanging up on my mood-board above my desk π
Snapchat:
I never thought there was something out there to challenge my instagram addiction, but that was before I discovered the hilarious wonders of Snapchat. I follow all my favourite fashion bloggers (both irish and international) for glimpses into their everyday work and personal lives, plus I love sharing my own adventures and goofy videos. - I was featured on the Irish Times website in a street style video today, check it out!
- I’ve teamed up with Frockadvisor for Fashion Independence day this coming Thursday, where I’ll be chauffeured around Dublin’s city centre with the aim of taking as many selfies as possible in Independednt shops and boutiques. It should be quite the adventure, so be sure to follow the hashtag #FIDay to keep up!
