With all the ker-fuffle of travelling to Krakow and launching my new website, February’s wishlist post somehow got put on the long finger, and now here we are in March already! My how time is flying, it makes me unbelievably happy to see the Spring sunshine arrive, and with that comes new wardrobe aspirations of course! March is such a transitional month here in Ireland, the weather gets slightly warmer, which gets us all ridiculously excited about Summertime, and planning our seasonal wardrobe re-vamp.
The first thing I usually update in my Spring/Summer wardrobe is sunglasses, as I feel that they are the easiest (and most cost-effective) way to re-jig an outfit for warmer weather. Romwe have had an amazing drop of sunglasses recently, I’m absolutely loving this gold cat-eye pair and these quirky round frames. Another thing I love about Romwe sunglasses is that they’re always such great value, so you don’t have to feel that bad when you indulge in a new pair… or two.
Since collaborating with Boohoo.com on their extremely fun #OWNIT campaign recently (see outfit posts here and here) I have been having a regular creep on their website, and there are so many pieces which have caught my eye. These fabulous metallic heeled loafers, are seriously covetable and come in pewter, gold, and (my favourite) pink! These Faziah boyfriend jeans (similar here) were another item that I absolutely fell in love with, as I’ve been dying to try a distressed, white style like these out for Spring/Summer. I think they would work really well with a lot of pieces I already own, which is always a great excuse to indulge!
I find Im usually quite picky when it comes to jewellery, but this adorable little friendship chain from ASOS has me totally smitten, isn’t it just gas? It also comes in a bracelet and a ring set ~ TOO cute! I’ve also been lusting after this gorgeous wide brimmed blue hat (now that the wind is starting to die down, we can start to wear hats again, huzzah!) Slip on’s are the set to be the perfect Spring flat, and this tropical pair from ASOS are just perfection! Also from ASOS is this lilac neoprene biker jacket, which I don’t think it needs much explaining, just look at it! Much want. Such beauty.
And then theres this shirt. This cat shirt. This shirt with embroidered cats on it. Its not necessarily a “Spring” piece, and it certainly doesn’t tie in with any trend I can think of. Nonetheless, as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it, it’s just brilliant. I bought it in blue shortly after compiling this wishlist, and I cannot WAIT for it to arrive!
