Serendipity

Funnily enough, the day after my post about how much I love tooled leather pieces (here) I was just wandering aimlessly around town, enjoying the blissfulness of having sunshine and a day off, and thinking how I would love a new wallet for the coming spring/summer. My newest one, a present form my boyfriend, which was adorable and designed like an envelope, I sadly lost to a fire (very dramatic I know, a story for another time!) and so I was currently using an ancient Juicy Couture Ebay-find, which, at about 4years old, is pretty haggard and gross at this stage… And out of the blue I come across this beauty, a wonderful tan tooled leather clasp wallet, just the right size, dainty and beautiful, and for €4, you cant really go wrong can you? REJOICE!

My Beauty Favourites:

Nail Art

A collection of some of the most awesome nail art I’ve seen on the net recently… and some that are just downright insane…. …. there’s something so fun and silly about having ridiculously decorated nails. Tooled Leather

I love the look and feel of proper tooled leather items, especially tooled leather bags… The detail is just gorgeous on some of them, and I believe they are one of the few proper vintage items that only get better with age…. bohemian at its best 🙂 A good place to find one for yourself would be Ebay, but I have been lucky enough to find two different ones during my regular rummages in the local thrift shops around galway… Maybe you could be lucky too 🙂 all of the above are available on Ebay now: Image one Image two Image three Image four ….if you fancy! x

Pop goes the radio….

Hurrah, my first publishing! Popgoestheradio is a London-based music blog (a very good one at that) and is ran by my friend Josh Clarke. It’s definitely worth checking out, he knows what he’s talking about! Anyhow, I wrote a small piece for him and he published it for me 🙂 Its only small, but hey, everyone’s gotta start somewhere right?… Lost Chord E.P Guest post from the delightful Ciara O Doherty. Hear ye, Hear Ye! Celebrated Galway band Lost Chord have released their latest musical offering, to coincide with their upcoming tour dates at Canadian Music Week, the international music festival. This aptly titled “Canada E.P” features brand-new recordings, not to mention a re-vamped version of their previous hit Drunk & Unspoken a song already much salivated-over by Galway music lovers. The boys set sail for Toronto early yesterday morning, and my sources can confirm that they have arrived safely,…
