I popped into town over the weekend for a haircut in SugarCubed, my favourite hair salon, and a nose around the shops. If you are looking for a great hair salon in Dublin city, I really can’t recommend them enough, you can read about my first experience with them here. Ever since I got my hair cut at the beginning of the summer, I’ve loved the shorter length and choppy style, I think the messy look suits my personality and style better, what do you guys think?

I decided to go for an all-black palette for this look, but played with different textures and shades, as I think they can really make an all-black outfit so much more interesting! You may remember this faux fur gilet from some of my outfit posts last winter , it has to be one of my best eBay bargains to date. It’s extremely warm and cosy, and it goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. I find faux fur to be incredibly handy for keeping warm in the winter time, and seen as it’s such a fun texture to style, you can expect to see many more faux fur pieces creeping into my outfit posts soon.

One of the other reasons I chose this all black look was to show off this beautiful brooch from Jasper Jewellery, which I am absolutely in love with! It’s made with Swarovski crystals, and it sparkles so brightly, the photos really don’t do it justice. This is the first brooch I’ve had in my jewellery collection, and it’s perfect for adding that touch of colour and embellishment to any outfit. I recommend having a look at Jasper Jewellery’s website,  there are so many other little treasures in there!

Hoping you’re all having a great week so far!

Peace,
WildChild,
