“Dream big, work hard, stay focused, and surround yourself with good people.”

This is another typical day-to-day look for me – comfy and cosy with a touch of edge. I am having such a love affair with coats at the moment (my last Style Diary featured a long coat also) and this one started it all. I found it in a charity shop in Galway for ten euro. TEN EURO! The size was a little big, but I knew that the Zipyard would be able to work their magic on it. I dropped it into their South Anne Street store, and they tailored it to fit me perfectly (I asked for a slightly oversized fit) as well as restyling the lapels slightly to give it more of a masculine look. I am SO happy with it! If you have any pieces that you are looking to get altered, I strongly recommend popping into them, they work wonders. If you’re looking for a similar style of coat, and this sleeveless style is also on my wishlist.

You may have noticed that things have been a bit quiet on my blog and social media sites over the past week, and that’s because I’ve been busy training for StrictlySpin, a Charity dance tournament in aid of the Irish Homeless Street Leagues. Its been such a fun project to get involved in, and learning to dance the cha-cha was a unexpected challenge, but I’m discovering my inner J-Lo! The big event is on this Friday, so be sure to stay tuned to my instagram and snapchat (@ciaraodoherty) as I’ll be sure to post some updates throughout the night. You can also buy tickets to the event, and donate to the cause via my MyCharity page, it really is a fantastic cause, and I’d appreciate any amount big or small.

Happy Shopping,

Ciara x

Gorgeous look! I really want a camel coat but then again I’m contemplating a khaki one too… Or maybe both..
