Seen as I went on about how much I love midi skirts so much in my last Trend Report post, It seems only fair that I show you guys how I wear mine! You may remember I shared a quick snap of this outfit on my instagram and facebook pages a few days ago when I went out for drinks with Yoseph, and here is the full look and product links for you to shop. Also, how funny is that photo of me holding down my skirt?! I got caught by a rogue gust of wind just as myself and Dominika were shooting!

As I mentioned before, I was pleasantly surprised by the poofyness of this Choies midi skirt, I thought it would be a lot flatter given the extremely low price, and what’s even better is that it doesn’t need any ironing or steaming, as the pleats somehow manage to maintain their shape perfectly! A midi skirt like this could easily be dressed up for a formal occasion, such as a wedding or a birthday, but I decided to style mine up into a semi-casual look, with this breton stripe tee from Penneys. I picked it up in the past few weeks the Dublin Mary Street branch, so It may still be in there if  anyone is looking to purchase. Again, if you are looking to try this trend out for yourself, be sure to check out my latest Trend Report feature all about midi skirts, which includes some of my favourite picks online.

This little Chanel phone case is a shameless knock-off I picked up for under €20 on Depop, and although I already did feel bad about buying it, karma intervened even further and the lid part broke off after only a few weeks, waah! You may also have spotted on my social pages recently that I am doing the mother of all wardrobe clearouts over on my Depop account, so if you haven’t checked that out yet, be sure to head over and nab yourself a bargain, before they’re all sold out!

Happy Shopping,

Ciara x

Shouldn’t midi be below the knee? Very nice regardless.
