May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself. – Neil Gaiman

Happy New Year everyone! I can’t believe this is my first post of 2015 😀 Yesterday was spent relaxing out after some particularly fun NYE celebrations, it was such a fun night! After my blogging-break at Christmas, I have to say that I am so happy to be back to regular posting!

This is another look in the series that myself and the lovely Azzy shot together, with another little video to go with it! I have been having so much fun experimenting with these types of fashion videos these past few months, and look forward to doing a lot more of these this year. This outfit is yet another example of how much I am loving blanket capes at the moment! I particularly like the colours in this style from the Dunnes Strores Gallery collection, and its also extremely cosy. Im pretty sure it’s sold out online now, but I have linked some similar styles in the “Shop the Post” widget above. I also love this Burberry-esque style I picked up from Sheinside, which I wore on my trip to Kildare Village recently. I teamed this cape with a pair of thigh-high boots from River Island, but I could see myself styling it up with my new Miista Emi boots also.

I hope you are all feeling positive and inspired for the year ahead! I came across this beautiful quote featured above from author Neil Gaiman this morning, and I can’t stop thinking about it, it’s such a lovely sentiment. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can also read my “Year in Review” post here, it looks back at my highs and lows over the past 12 months, as well as my hopes for the future.

In other news, today was my first official day back to work after a very indulgent and fun-filled December, and I am also going on a bit of a health-kick. I’ve never really done a Detox before, and I’m not too keen on the idea of a strict diet, but I have decided to make some more healthy changes, in the hopes of including them into my lifestyle permanently. You may have spotted on my instagram that I have started a mini-detox using TEXTOX teas, and so far I am really liking them. Expect to see a few more health and fitness posts over the next few week while I update you on my progress. Wish me luck!

Happy Shopping,

Ciara x
