The Career Diaries: My College/Career Path So Far.

A common question I get asked via my blog is how I ended up working in fashion and the media, or how I became a recognised blogger. Im also pretty sure I’m not the only blogger/stylist who’s been asked these types questions, right? I find these questions difficult to answer for a myriad of reasons, the number one being that I don’t want to disappoint people. I always do my best to explain that there is no easy answer. Career paths in the fashion and the media are rarely, if ever, laid out for people to follow. It’s all about making your own way, carving out your own path. But there is one way that I can help answer this tricky question, and that is by sharing MY path with you all, because in the end, that’s all I know. So, I  before I go much further with these Career Diaries,…

Style Diary: Think Pink

Coat: eBay | Jumper: Penneys | Jeans: Topshop | Boots: River Island | Bag: Michael Kors “Selma” | Necklace: StyleGodezz via iClothing.ie | Bag Charm: Market in Krakow, Poland I had intended on publishing this outfit post on Sunday I received some bad news about and old friend from back home, and wasn’t really in the blogging form, so I held off for a few days. This is what I wore for a day of shopping and fun with my boyfriend on Saturday, we usually never get any time off together, so getting to hang out for the day was a real treat. Even though the weather is still pretty cold and windy here in Dublin, I still wanted to inject a little Spring vibe into my outfit, and my pink coat was just the ticket! You may remember it from this outfit post a few months back. Its still just…

January Wishlist

Now that January is nearly over, it’s time to get excited about Spring! The thought of (slightly) warmer days and more sunshine has me so excited, one of the reasons being that its been pretty much impossible to shoot any outfit posts over the last two months! So as you can imagine, Im dying for a little more sunshine in my life! My thoughts of Spring has me loving all things pastel at the minute, and I’m finding myself daydreaming about candy-coloured hues and soft cotton textures while the weather rages outside my window. View and shop my wishlist below: Above are some of the pieces I’ve been lusting after this month, there’s a lot of pastel in there! I feel like I’ve been wearing so many dark colours lately, and incorporating some pastel in to my wardrobe will be a welcome change. I’ve also included some fun accessories to…

Style Diary: New Projects

Sequin Tee: A|wear (similar here, here and here) | Pvc midi skirt: Missguided (similar here and here) | Faux fur stole: Asos (similar here and here) | heels: Penneys (similar here and here) | Watch: Michael Kors (more affordable versions here, here and here) Photos: Jason Branagan One of the things I love most about this time of the year is that you can get away with that bit more in your party outfits. More sequins, more colours, more faux fur, when the festive season rolls around, it all sounds good to me! I decided to put together a party look that I would love to be wearing in over the next few weeks, consisting of some new and old pieces. Firstly, lets talk about the skirt. I picked up this baby pink PVC beauty on Missguided after stalking it for a few weeks, and I have to say that I’m so happy with it. I teamed it…

Lost in Paradise

Shorts : €5 // Blazer €9 // Heels : €13 // Tee : €3 // Necklace : €5 // Sunglasses : €1.50 all from Penneys / Primark. Spending Easter Sunday in Nerja was quite the experience. Its a very small costal town, and its people are quite traditional and religious, so Easter Sunday is a very important event. There was a beautiful religious themed procession in the main square, which was absolutely stunning, with vibrant colours, traditional costumes, and decadent holy statues. It really reminded me of the Dole&Gabbana A/W ’13 collection, and I was blown away by the beauty and depth of the whole event. Seen as the locals were getting all dressed up in their Sunday best, I decided that I might as well suit up for the occasion. This pink tweed suit is a recent purchase from Primark, and to say that I am in love with…
