The Ultimate Festival Fashion Edit: 4 Easy outfit Ideas & Shopping Guide

It could be one of my absolute favourite times of the year, festival season is upon is! With Forbidden Fruit kicking off this weekend, it’s all systems go for planning my festival looks. I’ve been working with the Irish fashion app Ragsbox in the run up to it, and I’ve been sharing some of my favourite festival looks over on their app (find out more about it here) which is free to download! Here is a round-up of my looks, let me know which is you favourite:

FotorCreatedSHOP THE LOOK:

Deep V bodysuit | Lace Bralette (sold out, similar here and here) | Distressed shorts | Bomber jacket | Converse

For those looking to make a statement at the festival this weekend, why not try an edgier trend like the underwear as outerwear look, if you’re feeling brave enough! Here I’ve paired a deep-v bodysuit with a strappy lace bralette, which gives the illusion of showing more skin, while still being covered up. Throw on a pair of distressed shorts to add another element of edginess to the look, along with my favourite bomber jacket on top, to dress it down a bit. Its a look that’s sultry and edgy at the same time, and totally comfortable for a day of dancing.

Bardot top | Denim skirt | bandana neckerchief | converse

If you’d rather not embrace full-on bohemian festival fashion, you can still keep things girlie and look the part. For this outfit I’ve kept things much more feminine with a bardot-style off the shoulder top and simple denim a-line skirt, which is perfect for a day of fun and music. I’ve added a simple bandanna tied as a neckerchief to the look as a simple styling touch, and the whole look feels very French Rivera and oh-so chic, but still festival-appropriate. Just make sure to layer on some suncream if you’re out all day, no one likes having burnt shoulders on a bank holiday!

Faux Suede biker | Distressed Jeans | Crochet top| Cord ribbon necktie | Converse

This is another comfortable and festival-casual look, perfect for an evening where the weather is a bit cooler. These ripped jeans are surprisingly warm (despite the holes!) and the addition of a cute crochet crop top really add’s that bohemian touch to the whole look. My faux suede biker adds another warm layer but also a little pop of colour into the outfit, which is finished off by my white converse, which I don’t expect will look this clean after the weekend! For accessories I’ve kept it simple with a very on-trend black cord ribbon neckpiece tied in a bow, these little guys just scream summertime.

Biker Jacket (more affordable option here) | Grey Jeans | White tee | Ankle Boots | Backpack (sold out, similar here) | Bolo necklace

For this last look I’ve paired a simple white tee with a pair of my comfiest skinnys, and teamed the look with my trusty leather biker jacket, perfect for keeping me warm when the sun goes down! The addition of a bolo necklace and a choker adds another festival element to the look, and just team with your favourite backpack to hold all your festival essentials. Throw on a pair of ankle boots and you’re got that Kate-Moss-at-Glasto vibe SORTED!

Top Tip: Ribbon chokers are so trendy right now, but skip buying one on the high-street and just make your own out of a piece of black ribbon. It’s ridiculously simple, and leaves you with more dolla to spend on your festival adventures!

So with 5 days to go until the festival kicks off, thankfully there’s still plenty of time to pick up some fun new bits to complete your outfits, or plan some new one’s from scratch. Just make sure to select next-day or two-day shipping and you should be in the clear, haha!  Below I’ve put together my biggest ever festival shopping guide, to help give you some inspiration. Just hover your mouse over any product to see the price, and click on the photo to be taken to the store for more information.

“let me know which is your favourite” you say. well, that would have to be the bbardot one. i also kind of like the crochet-top look, which surprises me, because i detest lace.
