As I mentioned to you guys already, I have decided to to a start a fun new series on the blog called “Wardrobe Essentials” where I give you guys an insight into some of the wardrobe staples I cannot live without. This year more than ever, I have begun to undertake a more simplistic and classic approach to dressing, and I have been trying to invest my pennies in pieces that will stand the test of time. Granted, I still splurge on the odd novelty handbag now and again (I recently added this little number to my wardrobe, how fun?!) and I will always have a rather off-beat sense of style (and proud of it) but this new behaviour has made getting dressed in the morning SO much easier, especially on days when I’m working!
Another side-effect of this new simplistic outlook is my newfound love for flats. I have begun to amass a fine little collection that I can skip around the town in all day long on various jobs without hurting my poor feet. Cute, classic flats like these are definitely workwear essentials, in that they can easily be worn to the office, or wherever your particular workday requires!
