Just bought my ticket to see Warpaint play an intimate set in the Roisín Dubh in Galway in August… They’re a seriously talented all-girl group that have stolen my heart ever since I first heard their acoustic version of “Billie Holiday”…. Definitely one of my favourite bands around at the moment, and the fact that they’re all female makes them even more savage in my eyes, we need more decent girl rock groups…
