WILD CHILD FILES: Interview with Emma Waldron

NAME: Emma Britt Waldron (Britt is my grandmother’s name she’s Swedish!)
AGE: 23 as of 4th of May! I feel quite old!
OCCUPATION: Primary School teacher, Model, Presenter, Writer 
FAVOURITE FOOD/MEAL: I love food so it’s difficult to pick a favourite! I love fillet steak, one of my favourite restaurants, The Rustic Stone makes a mean steak!
FAVOURITE PERK OF MY JOB: Teaching: I love working with children, they’re hilarious. I was teaching in a school recently and the children had hidden cards all over the classroom. The children had to tell me whether I was ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ relative to how close or far I was from the cards. One child screamed repeatedly ‘You’re so hot, you’re so hot!!’ I couldn’t stop laughing!
Modeling: I love the random nature of the job, you never know what you will be doing from one week to the next. It’s exciting. 
FRIENDS TELL ME I’M: a softie!
MY PROUDEST MOMENT TO DATE: Traveling to India in November with Healthy Kids Happy Kids and seeing the difference the charity was making.
LAST DREAM I HAD: I always have crazy dreams! Lately they’ve all been in really warm places, which I figure is my subconsciouses way of saying ‘I NEED A HOLIDAY!’
MY GUILTY PLEASURE: Garlic Mayonnaise! Anything tastes good with garlic mayonnaise…apart from kisses!
CANT STOP LISTENING TO: Nicki Minaj ‘Beez in the Trap’
MY BIGGEST FASHION MISTAKE: A lovely denim on denim ensemble I wore for my confirmation!
CURRENTLY LUSTING AFTER: A stunningly warm summer holiday destination with beaches that stretch for miles and total peace and quiet!
PET PEEVE: Negativity!!!!!!
BIGGEST SPLURGE/SPEND: As of late my new HTC ONE S! I absolutely love it! It’s not terribly expensive but since I’ve been locked in my room studying for my finals I haven’t been shopping much! It’s such a great phone!
DREAM HOLIDAY/TRIP: Caribbean Island Hopping!
WHERE I’LL BE IN 5 YEARS TIME: I want www.emmawaldron.com to be the most successful blog/store in Ireland, I want to design a clothing collection. I want to be teaching and/or a presenter. I want to travel the world and learn how to cook in every country I visit. I want to have my own apartment in a city, perhaps Toronto, and to have a meaningful tattoo. I want to write for a magazine or newspaper. I want to raise more money and open more Education, Housing and Medical centres with the charity Healthy Kids Happy Kids in India, and I want to be very very happy 😀  
HOW I WIND DOWN: I like to relax with a glass of wine and a movie with my boyfriend Manners.
MY MANTRA/SECRET TO SUCCESS: Never stop working hard.
IF I WAS AN ANIMAL I’D BE: A boxer dog! I have a boxer called Charlie and he is spoiled rotten and gets loads of cuddles!! I think I could put up with that 
MY CELEBRITY CRUSH (DEAD OR ALIVE!) : Michael Ealy! 
MY CURRENT DREAM/GOAL: To finish my final exams in St. Patrick’s College Drumcondra 
ADVICE TO MY 16 YEAR-OLD SELF: Not to be so trusting of people, you learn a lot about people and the good and the bad qualities of people. I was and am still quite naive to the ways of the world, so I think I would say tread carefully!
WHO/WHAT INSPIRES ME: I think Beyonce is an incredibly strong and inspirational young women. She is dignified and respectable, as well as being creative and kind-hearted. She demonstrates that you can be successful and be a woman and a mother.
