A/W Coat Edit: The Trench

A/W Coat Edit: The Trench
Lets talk about the Trench. First designed by Burberry in 1850, the humble trench coat has been a fashion staple of many a style icon, and since its creation, the original look hasn’t changed all that much.  A tan trench worn open or loosely knotted at the waist is is the epitome of laid back elegance and cool, and a pre-requisite for pretty much every French it-girl. I have been dreaming about a owning a classic Burberry trench, but the hefty price tag has me on the hunt for a vintage version, which would still be an investment, but a much more affordable one at that! For an even cheaper alternative to the designer version, check out my top Trench picks below:
Botton L-R: Long, Cream, Relaxed.
Any of these trenches could be worn in a multitude of ways, and can be dressed up an down depending on the occasion. I personally love the look of them thrown on over boyfriend jeans and a sweater, teamed with a pair of loafers, and maybe a scarf to keep the chill at bay. Sounds like the perfect Autumn outfit to me. I can’t decide whether I like the Long or Cream one better, but I would honestly be delighted with any of these, they’re all so wonderfully chic. Which is your favourite?
I hope you guys are liking this A/W Coat Series so far, I have just one more style left to share, I think you’ll really it, as it’s full of colour, and as always, everything featured is very affordable.
Peace,
