Without a doubt, my footwear of choice for Autumn winter is a good pair of high boots. They look cute with just about anything, they keep your legs toasty, and they mean less time worrying about tanning your legs, which is always an added bonus. My go-to pairs at the moment are my trusty Stuart Weitzman Over the knee boots which I picked up on Shopbop a few years ago. They’re definitely pricey, but I honestly think the quality is second to none, and I’ve already worn them so many times that the cost-per-wear works out to be very little. Another style of boot I picked up recently is this knee high pair from River Island, which came in at under €100. They’re so comfortable and also come in a gorgeous tan colour.
