With Black Friday just around the corner, there are some serious savings to be made for savy-shoppers. So in today’s post, I’m sharing my three essential rules to preparing for the busiest shopping day of the year.
1: Make a wishlist
Start off by making a wishlist of items you’d like, or things you’re already interested in buying. Make a bookmark folder of those items, so on black Friday you can check them all easily to see if anything has gone into sale, and if it has, then you can snap it up! Having a list set aside not only, helps keep you on track and avoid impulse-buying, but the bookmark trick also helps you locate these desired items online quicker. Things sell out very quickly on Black Friday, so remember that speed is key!
2: Sign up to email / sms alerts
Another great tip is to sign up to alerts from the retailers that you’re most interested in. Some brands even have an sms alert option, so you’ll get a text message alerting you as soon as the sale goes live, which can make a huge difference when trying to score your desired items on sale.
3: Shop the presales.
Many retailers are kicking off their sales already, with great presale and site-wide events happening all week long. One of my favourites right now is the big ShopBop sale, which offers a range of huge discounts with the code “GOBIG16”… I’m currently trying to decide which item on my wishlist to pick up! I’m thinking that another warm coat would be perfect for the next few months ahead.
Hello Ciara, all your tips are worth for me. I loved your dress up very much. The overcoat is complimenting your beauty. You are looking stunning in this outfit. Thanks for the lovely blog.
