For today’s post we’re looking at making the perfect cosy Christmas setting at home.
Decorating for the festive season is one of my absolute favourite things, there’s something about putting the tree and all the decorations up that really gets you in the Christmas spirit. This season, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere is more important than ever, so here are some of my favourite things to incorporate:
Glassware
There’s nothing quite like sipping a festive cocktail from a beautiful glass, and I spotted some gorgeous glassware sets in Carraig Donn in Marshes shopping centre – they had so many beautiful styles to choose from!

Decorations:
When it comes to decorations, I love traditional things like nutcrackers, so I couldn’t leave behind this large one I spotted in Penneys, along with these adorable nutcracker tree decorations. Stores like Flying Tiger are also brilliant for quirky little decorations and decor pieces, I found some gorgeous ribbon rolls and some beautiful coasters for such great prices!

Candles:
What cosy Christmas setup is complete without a few candles burning. Again I don’t think you need to break the bank to find some really great quality candles, I picked up some beautiful ones in Penneys, New Look, and some pillar candles in Flying Tiger, who had a rainbow of colours available.

Cosy Clothing:
And finally, they best part about a cosy Cristmas setup is of course, the cosy clothes and loungewear. Whether you’re a pjs all-day kind of person at Christmas, or you’d rather a comfortable lounge look, there are so many choices at Marshes. I opted for a set of matching Penneys pajamas (from one of their charity partner selections) for msyelf and my sister to be matching with on Christmas eve!

I definitely recommend checking out some of the incredible highstreet brands that Marshes Shopping Centre has to offer, there is so much choice under one roof that you’re sure to find the perfect style for you.
My shopping experience felt so safe and comfortable at Marshes. There are so many sanitisation stations and floor markings dotted around the centre that I felt totally at ease browsing my favourite stores in one place.
