Ok, so December is finally here, and it’s safe to say we’re all in Christmas shopping mode, or at least we should be! One of the gift-related questions I always get is what to get the men in your life, it seems that they really are the hardest to shop for. So I’m here to offer some advice!
When it comes to buying for the man in your life (be it brother, father, husband, uncle) it’s always best to keep it simple. Here are my top 3 tips:
- Find out what he likes, and go from there. Is he a book-worm, a sporting fan, a closet gamer? Suss out his interests and choose something based on that. Don’t go buying him golf gear because you think he should take it up!
- Never underestimate the help of a good inside-man. If you find yourself really stuck, then enlist the help of one of his friends to find out what he wants.
- Gift him an experience you both can share. In my opinion this is the ultimate gift, and it needn’t cost the earth, either. A fun cocktail-making class for you and your other half, or maybe a concert for you and your Papa, a mini-holiday or weekend away somewhere in Ireland, there’s so much to choose from. This way, you get to benefit from it too, haha!
