Just a quick post to share with you all what I’m packing for my long weekend in Paris. Myself and Yos will be leaving verrrrrry early in the morning, arriving in the city around lunchtime, and are flying back home on Monday night. I can’t wait to explore this beautiful city for a few days, we have lot’s of fun things planned and the weather looks to be very kind to us too, fingers crossed! I’ll be doing a full travel feature here on the blog when I return to share all my favourite tips and tricks with you all, and I’m also hoping to do my first ever travel vlog for my YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe here if you haven’t already.
I’m excited to announce that myself and Yoseph will also be shooting a fun collaboration for the blog with Thomas Sabo while in the city, which I can’t wait to tell you more about. You may remember I travelled to Munich with the brand last year as part of their charm club celebration, and I’m so excited to be partnering with them again on this trip to Paris. I’ll be sharing more info as soon as we arrive, so be sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (both ciaraodoherty) to stay updated while I’m away.
Now comes the not-so-fun part, the packing. I decided to go with some comfy and casual outfits as we’ll be walking around so much, but I also have a few dressier pieces for the evening (hey, it is Paris after all.) Here’s a quick overview of what’s in my suitcase:

As always, I’ll be bringing my trusty Olympus Pen E-PL7 on my trip (watch my full review video here) but this time I have two brand new lenses to play around with. The first one is a 17mm lens which I’ll be using for video and general travel photography (food, scenery, architecture, ect) and the other is my brand new 75mm lens which I’ll be using for my Style Diaries from now on. The 75mm lens was definitely an investment, but I’m so excited to start using it, so stay tuned!
And finally, if you have any recommendations for things to do and see in gaye Paree, please do leave them below!
Happy Shopping,
Love

Have an amazing time in Paris! Can’t wait to see your pictures.

really interesting to see what someone else packs. I’m off to Disneyland Paris next week, my packing looks VERY different lol. I went to Paris a few years ago. The places I loved were
1. Mass at Notre Dame Cathedral. Even if you are not Catholic or anyway religious, I would still recommend going to Mass. Most people just go when its empty. There is something so special about Mass here, like stepping back in time. The Mass service in French makes it even more other worldly and you really get the full experience of this amazing old Church.
2. The Paris Opera House. This is the original real life inspiration for The Phantom of the Opera Story., yes it does have an underground lake and a mini village area at the back, just like is show in the film. There are tours but I just wandered around the areas open to the public, including one of the boxes in the main auditorium, where you can see the famous chandelier.
3. Moulan Rouge Again another real life building which a film is based on. It is expensive but I would highly recommend doing the dinner and show package. Its Paris theatre history come to life 🙂
