I am delighted to introduce to you a BRAND NEW feature to ciaraodoherty.com; Fashion Film! A few weeks ago I worked on a series of fashion video features with Azzy, a lovely videographer friend of mine. I had been intending on starting this project for quite some time, and we had so much fun shooting these looks, despite it being absolutely freezing out! The videos are also premiering on the RTE Fashion website, you an check out the first one here.
This first look in the series is definitely a cosy one, and with the weather being as cold as it is right now, you really have to get clever with your layering to ensure you don’t freeze! I’m sure you guys have seen this Giovanna Borza Mongolian and leather fringe scarf on my instagram or facebook, but I am absolutely in love with it! Without a doubt, it is the cosiest thing I own, plus it’s great for dressing up a casual look into something a bit more glamorous!
Giovanna is an emerging Irish/Italian designer who debuted her first collection in Spring/Summer of this year, and she’s already making waves with her exciting designs. I imagine we can expect big things from this talented lady in 2015, and I’m so delighted to have a piece of my own to keep me snuggly in the cold months ahead.
I kept the rest of my look very simple, to let the scarf really make the statement. These ASOS ankle boots I have been living in all Winter, they are the perfect mix of comfortable and stylish that I just can’t help but reach for them in the mornings. These biker effect wax trousers from iClothing are another wardrobe staple on high-rotation, but I cant help it that they go with everything!
