It’s that time of the year again, temperatures are dropping and we’re bundling up in our cosiest of layers. Every year I do a roundup of my favourite coat styes either here on my blog or on my Youtube channel, but this year I’m doing a double-whammy and giving you both! Below I have put together a round up of my favourite coat styles available on the highstreet and online right now, with something there for every taste and budget.

FAUX-FUR

For someone looking for a little more luxe vibe in their outerwear, faux fur is perfect for adding a dose of glam while staying super cosy. I recently picked up this gorgeous grey pelted style from New look, but I also adore this style from ASOS, and this maxi lenght version from Missguided, which is giving me major Carrie Bradshaw vibes! TEDDY COATS

One of Autumn/Winters biggest coat trends, we’re seeing teddy coats and “borg” style jackets all over the highstreet, and I after trying one out for myself, I am officially converted. Their fleecy, faux-shearling material is so soft and cosy, and they have a laid back style which is perfect for casual days where comfort is key. AVIATOR JACKETS

Another huge outerwear trend this Winter, aviator coats have taken over the highstreet, with different versions to be found in so many different highstreet shops and online. I picked up this version in H&M a few weeks ago and it probably the warmest jacket I own! The interior is fully fleece lined, so it’s almost like wearing a sleeping bag – WIN! View and shop some of my favourites below:

THE TAILORED COAT

A classic, timeless style, tailored coats will always look good. I’ve had this style from M&S for over a year now and it still looks just as good as they day I got it! Unfortunately it’s sold out but I have linked lots of similar styles below, including some gorgeous printed versions:

BIKER

Biker jackets will forever and always be a wardrobe staple for me. I wear them all year round, and they can easily be made warmer by adding a few extra cosy layers underneath, or a faux fur gilet on top.
