Holiday Shopping Guide: Swimwear

As some of you already know, I am going away on holidays at the end of this month. I’ll  be going to Barcelona and then on to the south of France, for just under two weeks in total. To say I am excited would be an understatement. I am beyond excited! Of course, with the prospect of a holiday around the corner, it’s time to shop for some swimwear essentials. One thing is for sure with swimwear, the nicest styles always sell out fast, so even if your holiday isn’t booked just yet, preparation is key.

I feel like the swimwear selection online this year is really good, there seems to be a shift from jewel-emblazoned pieces (which I must admit I often find a little tacky) to more retro inspired, feminine styles. I am particularly excited about getting one or two new swimsuits. I think one pieces are so figure-flattering, and you often feel more comfortable and secure in them then an itsy-bitsy bikini.

If you are going for a swimsuit style this summer, then why not get one with a little edge? Whether it be a deep-v, a bright colour, or some daring cut-outs, you can easily opt for something thats covered up, but still sexy. I absolutely love back detail of this deep v style, and the colour is so pretty, (it also comes in black). I also really love the cut-out detail in this Motel style, the high-cut on the legs looks so sporty!

Not forgetting the bikinis, I have linked a few styles that I really like below. Although I must say, it’s the swimsuit that has stolen my heart this season!
