INSTA-LIFE #5 ~ My Life via Instagram

I have been having an absolute blast since moving to Dublin, I’ve been here over a month now already. You’ve seen how my internship with FashionOneTv has been going via my Internship Diary posts (see here and here), but I thought it would be nice to update you guys on what else I’ve been getting up to!

Since my move to Dublin, there has been some major indulgence in the food department, but among the raspberry white-chocolate muffins and the deep-fried scampi (squid) there has also been some amazing VitaCoco goodness (thank you so much for the surprise delivery guys!) and some delicious berry and mint cocktails, which I made myself, mind you!

I celebrated my 24th Birthday a few weekends ago, and I headed back to Galway for a big boat party on the river Corrib with loads of my friends, it was the most fun ever! I spend my actual Birthday (July 7th) out at home with my family, and there’s no where else in the world I’d rather be on my birthday than home, it was a perfect day.

There are so many fun things to do here in the city, and I have been trying to get as much done as I can! My nails got the Tropical Popical treatment from the amazing salon on SouthWilliam Street, and I also had a two page fashion feature in this months Stellar Magazine, definitely one to tick off the ol’ Bucket List. I stopped by the amazing Ben & Jerrys “Engagemint Party” event last week, to try some of their new Engagemint flavour ice-cream (YUM) and celebrate equal marriage rights (YAY). I also went to a really cool outdoor cinema a few days ago, organised by Happenings Dublin. Getting to watch an awesome movie (Withnail & I) under the stars on a warm evening, sitting on blankets and surrounded by friends, well it was pretty swell indeed. If you are living in Dublin I strongly recommend coming along to the next one.

Heres a sample of the outfits I’ve been wearing the past few weeks ~ the weather has been absolutely beautiful for the past month, and so comfort and airiness is a must! Im particularly in love with my new pointed flats  (bottom right) and my new lime green strapped clutch, both of which I nabbed in the Zara sale recently.

Finally, in terms of non-fashion related purchases, I treated myself to a lovely new notebook and pen from Paperchase, to further fuel my addiction organisation. I also received some amazing news a few days ago, I have made it into the final 3 in the category of “Best Fashion Blog” in the OOHLALA MAGAZINE blog awards, which are happening in August! Im absolutely gobsmacked to have made it to the final, but so unbelievably happy. THANK YOU so much to anyone who voted for my blog, you guys are the absolute best!
