You guys may have noticed the lack of Style Diaries on the blog recently, and that’s because I have changed up my camera equipment recently, and am waiting for another lens to arrive for my new Olympus Pen EPL-7, before I start shooting style diaries again. But in the meantime, I’ve been sharing all my daily outfits on my instagram (@ciaraodoherty) which is the easiest way to stay updated on what I’m wearing.
Usually when I post outfits over on Instagram, I get a lot of questions from you guys as to where the items I’m wearing are from, and how to find them. Some of you might also have noticed that I use a program called LikeToKNOWit, which is a handy little shopping program that allows you to find out exactly what I’m wearing, and get all the links to the items straight to your inbox in seconds. It really is the handiest thing ever, and I just wanted to explain it a bit better here, in case anyone wasn’t sure how it works.
Firstly, it’s free. Secondly, all you have to do is give your email address, which allows you to receive the product details for the outfits you want to know about. And finally, It doesn’t send you any unwanted mails, and the method works on thousands of other fashion bloggers Instagram profiles too. Even big brands like Vogue, Missguided and The Coveteur are using LikeToKNOWit to allow their followers to easily shop their feeds.
Still not convinced? Then take this example. You know how I’m always sharing my favourite online bargains and designer dupes on my Instagram page? Well a lot of those products are from asian websites that can be confusing to navigate if not familiar with them. Say I am wearing a cute pair of Valentino dupes that I tell you are from Romwe, you might still have to spend ages tracking that exact pair down on the website. Also, if you comment me asking where something is from, and I’m not on my phone at that time (which often happens) you could be waiting hours for a reply, which is not fun.
This little shopping service saves you time, and it also earns me a very small amount of commission if you buy something through my link. I put so much time and effort into finding unique pieces and great bargains to share with you all, and this way I can benefit a little bit from all the work I put in.

And it’s as simple as that guys! The busier I get, the more I am inclined to post on my instgram than on my blog, so it really is the best way to stay updated and save time.
