My Festival Fashion Diary: Primavera Sound, Barcelona

My Festival Fashion Diary: Primavera Sound, Barcelona

If you’ve been following my last few blog posts, (or my instagram for that matter) you’ll know that I went to Primavera Music festival last week, which is a three-day music festival in the city of Barcelona. It’s one of my favourite festivals, the atmosphere is always so amazing, there is no camping (phew!) and the most amazing acts play every year. I’ve gone twice before, this year I saw Interpol, Jungle, Dan Deacon, Death from Above, Kelelah, and so many more! I usually go to a lot of festivals in the summertime, and Primavera (being in late May) is a great way to kick off the season. I also wanted to document my outfits for you guys, since I love festival dressing so much. Here’s a breakdown of what I wore for the three days:

This was probably my favourite festival look of the three days. This button maxi dress was so comfortable, I wore it with a pair of little bicycle shorts so I could unbutton it and show off a little leg (wahey!) but it still kept me very warm come the evening time. I also tried out some fun temporary metallic tattoos for the festival, and I was surprised at how easy they were to apply, and how long they lasted. I’ll definitely be using them again this summer.

Day two:

For day two I decided last minute to wear one of the bikini tops I had packed, with a little body chain underneath. I wore it under a camouflage jacket so I still felt very covered, and the white distressed jeans were perfect for the evening time as they kept me snug. I also had a little fun with face jewels, as you can see above. If you can’t stick a few crystals on your face for a festival, then when can you eh?

For my final look I wanted to try out something a bit more bohemian and 7O’s inspired, as it’s such a popular festival trend right now. These printed flares were SO comfortable, they’re pretty much leggings with a flare on the end! I also loved this fringed biker jacket, it was surprisingly warm in the evening, and I chose a cute layered necklace to finish off the look.

I hope you guys liked this little festival fashion diary, I’d love to know which look was your personal favourite! I’ll also be publishing a special Festival Fashion feature in the next few days, so stay tuned for that. It will be an edit of my favourite festival styles available right now, plus a few tips on nailing your perfect festival look.
