You may have spotted my festival fashion diary post last week, looking at the outfits I wore to Primavera in Barcelona, and now I have put together another feature looking at the holiday looks I wore in Limousin, France. The weather was in the high-thirties, which was much hotter than we expected! Thankfully I had packed lots of light, floaty pieces that were perfect for staying cool in that kind of heat. Most of what I wore is available online now, here’s a quick rundown:
This first look was actually shot in Barcelona on our last day, but it didn’t fit in with the festival looks, so I’m just including it here!

I loved this cheeky, sunbathing look! A lot of you went crazy for this swimsuit when I posted it online, and thankfully it’s a snip on eBay, I also teamed it with my short-shorts and my oversized sun hat, to keep me that bit more covered from the sun.

For a day of exploring the ancient walled city of Rocamadour (SUCH a cool place!) I wanted to channel my inner Alexa Chung, and so I wore this bardot top and a simple denim skirt. My trusty birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned, and are perfect if a day of walking is on the cards.

This is what I wore macaroon shopping in one of the local delicatessens. A lightweight kimono was the perfect for keeping cool, and this floppy straw hat kept the sun off my head.

How cute are these heart-shaped sunglasses? They might be a bit too silly for regular wear, but I was dying to bring a pair with me on holidays!

Another trip to the local boulangerie in this printed shirt from Boohoo and a pair of vintage shorts. That quiche was so delicious. As you can see, my birkenstocks barely left my feet the whole trip.

For our last day in Limousin, we went to the local Cherry Festival in Chamberet, which is a craft and food fete that the locals hold each year when the cherries are in season. I wore this off-shoulder top from Motel, ate my weight in cherries, and bought some donkeys milk soap. It was such a lovely day.
