Some of you might have noticed already, but a simple breton stripe top has become one of my absolute wardrobe staples. I own about 7 or 8 different styles, and I honestly don’t know what I would wear without them! You might recognise some of the photos above from some older style diaries here, here and here.
Such a simple style to throw on for a casual, off-duty look that still feels chic, I have styled mine up in so many different ways, and I have yet to find an outfit they clash with! You may have spotted my recent wardrobe staples feature on the denim shirt, and this another item which I honestly feel every girl needs at least one of in their wardrobe.
The simple breton stripe is a classic style that never really dates, so thankfully you’ll always be able to find different versions online and on the highstreet, whatever your budget. I recently picked up this sleeved version from River Island which I am loving, and I also have my eye on this cute cropped style from Missguided, so perfect for Summer!
