Packing for Barcelona and Limousin: What’s in my suitcase

I can’t believe its only two days until I fly out to Barcelona. Most of you will have heard me harping on about this already, but I am going to Barcelona for Primavera music festival with my boyfriend and some of our friends, and then on to Limousin, France for another 5 days to relax after the festival. I have been to Barcelona three times before, it’s one of my favourite cities in Europe. If you have been following my blog from the beginning (well done you) then you will remember some posts on my adventures there a few years back. But before I jet off on Wednesday, I wanted to share a special packing post with you, showing you exactly what’s in my suitcase. Below are some snaps of pieces I’m packing and yes, I am bringing FIVE pairs of sunglasses. Don’t judge me.

I like to think I’m a pretty good at packing. I’m strict where I need to be, but I always manage a to fit a hell of a lot into a simple carry on case. This year, I have picked up lots of new bits for the holiday, and for the summertime in general. A few months ago, I went rooting around on eBay and managed to find really inexpensive dupes for both the Minimal Animale palm-tree swimsuit, and the Triangl swim range. I have included the links here and here so you can check them out. Just be sure to allow a month for delivery, and size UP! (I went for a M in both, and I’m a UK8) The fit is perfect in both, and the quality is fantastic, Im delighted with them!

In terms of non-fashion items Im packing, my trusty selfie stick will be coming with me (no shame!) and also my clip on lenses for my iPhone, so I can take some cute photos while away. I’m also bring my Nintendo DS as I’m a closet gamer who’s loved Zelda since she was a tod, but thats a story for another time. I featured some temporary metallic tattoos in my recent Holiday Wishlist feature, and I managed to pick up some, so they’re coming with me too.

As you can see, some are outfits that I’ll wear to the festival, such as this camouflage jacket and this maxi slit dress, and the rest are more summery, poolside bits, like this fringed kimono. I’m so excited to prance around in it with a cocktail in hand!
