There’s no doubt about it, polka-dots are officially THE print of Spring/Summer ’18. They’re flirty, fun to style, not to mention an easy print to match up with other pieces in your wardrobe, so jumping on this bandwagon should be a no-brainer. Here are my top 5 ways to style the polka-dot trend:
1: Pair a simple polka shirt with high waisted denim
If you’re unsure where to start, opt for a classic button short and you can go wrong. I love this deep v style from PrettyLittleThing. Pair it with your favourite jeans and blazer or biker jacket and you’re good to go.
2: Go for an overall look with a jumpsuit or dress
Another easy way to work the trend is to opt for a dress. A simple polkadot style is great for dressing up or down, depending on your day. It’s a print that looks just as good worn with sneakers as it does with heels! My pick? This fabulous floaty version from TopShop.
3: Bored of monochrome? Try choosing red or mustard/yellow shades for a colourful update on the look.
I have such an obsession with both red and yellow polkadot styles right now. They’re something so playful and summery about them, they instantly lift my mood. This bright playsuit is so perfect for a sunny city break.
4: Opt for a polka-print midi skirt for an outfit that can be dressed down with sneakers, or dressed up with heels and a camisole.
Another style staple, the midid skirt is an item that you really can style so many ways. Wear it belted with a jumper and sneakers for a cosy daytime feel, or pair it with a lace camisole, blazer and heels for a sassy date night look. My favourite? This cute button-up style from ASOS.
5: For a more dramatic look, play with textures and ruffles for a formal occasion, or opt for larger or clashing polka prints to make your look stand out.
Polka-dots are a great option for formal wear too, and they make a wonderful change from all the floral prints we see come summertime. A ruffled, one shoulder polka-dot dress would be a gorgeous wedding guest option, simply pair it with a pair of statement earrings and a red lip and you’ve got a fabulous, Dolce-inspired look. This ruffled number from River Island would be perfect.

Loving different styles of polka dots! I love the skirts and blouses. Thank you for sharing them. I just really find them so comfy and yet so stylish. Cheers!
That was an interesting post. I love your fashion style and I just fall in love with these dainty pieces of jewelry. These kinds of accessories are liked by people of all age groups. Especially, among the youngsters, the obsession for Such identity accessories including piercing jewelry has changed the style statements. A fashion accessory is a decorative item that supplements one’s outfit. An accessory adds color, style, and class in an outfit. Well, if I’d be asked to add accessories to my style, I would prefer labret piercing jewelry in the first place. The Eyebrow-Piercing have become very popular.
Wow! You are looking so beautiful in these pictures. Thanks for sharing this amazing post. Fashion is a popular aesthetic in a certain time and context, especially in clothing and you truly have a good taste of fashion and style selection. Thanks for the lovely post..
