As I sit here listening to the drizzling rain outside my window, it has forced me to accept that our wonderful Summer is well and truly over, and it’s time to start prepping for the new season ahead. Many people dread the thought of shopping for a new season, but I really love the idea of a fresh start, and adding those few new pieces to your wardrobe to inject new life into it. My huge wardrobe clearout on Depop has been going really, really well, so I’ve been able to reinvest some of the money I made into a few new essentials, and I’ve decided to share what I bought in this special Shop Spotlight post. I’ve keep my choices pretty simple as you can see, but I’m know that these neutral pieces will work with what I already have in my wardrobe, and that’s the trick! Invest in basics and they will make your life so much easier, trust me!

Im really excited to try my hand at styling these culottes into some fun looks for the blog, and this sleeveless coat is just perfection, I can’t wait to layer it up over some shirts and light sweaters. I try to invest in a good pair of black ankle boots every year, and my Zara ones from last Autumn have been worn to bits, so it was time for an update! (Im actually tempted to take them into a cobblers for a little TLC, as I’m not quite ready to give up on them just yet!) I must have searched every website before I found these absolutely perfect ones on ASOS. I just love the sharp point, and the thick block heel looks very comfortable, which is a must in my books.
