I can’t believe this is my first Style Diary of 2016! So far January has been really exciting, with lots of new opportunities and projects to take on. Starting my Youtube channel this month has been taking up a lot of my blogging-time, but I’ve been loving making video content for you guys SO much! Hearing your feedback about them makes me incredibly happy, thank you so much for supporting. Be sure to head over to my channel and subscribe if you haven’t already!
Despite my schedule this month, I’ll be making sure to set aside enough time for regular blogging again, as I don’t wan’t to let my posting here on the blog slide in any way. In the meantime, I’ve been working on lots of new ideas for ciaraodoherty.com for the coming year which I’m so excited to share with you all. One of them is the new 2016 wardrobe detox challenge I’ve set myself, have you read about it yet? It’s sure to be a tough transition, but I’m determined to stick to it.
This year I’ve also decided to give my makeup and skincare routine a little overhaul. My job as a freelance presenter and blogger often involves heavy makeup worn for long hours while shooting, and more often than not, I’m doing it myself. So it sort of makes sense that I’d start to invest a bit more time and money into my makeup skills, right? Of course this means that I’ll be sharing all my newfound tips, tricks and purchases here on ciaraodoherty.com, so expect lots more beauty posts coming your way soon. I asked you guys over on my instagram what products I needed to invest in, and boy, did you have lots of recommendations! You can see a mini haul of what I bought over on my snapchat (ciaraodoherty) right now.
In a few days I’ll be publishing my first shopping post of 2016, and it will be a little bit different than anything I’ve done before, so stay tuned for that also.
