A simple Breton stripe top is often overlooked in my wardrobe, but whenever I pull one out, I instantly wonder why I don’t more often. After shooting this look with Dominika recently, I’ve been on the hunt for a few more to add to my collection. They’re just so simple and chic looking, and so easy to style. I have my eye on this loose fitting one from Choies and this one from ASOS.
I’m also so happy that I have finally found a great pair of white wide-legged trousers at last! These Darmart ones are just high-waisted enough, and beyond comfortable. I have to admit I have been officially converted to all things wide legged, and I now have my eye on this cute cropped pair and this super wide pair ~ just think how much fun they would be to style?!
I know you might think that this outfit makes me look a little bit like a navy officer, or even a gondala-boater, but I just love it! To me it feels like a fun, playful look for Summer, and something that you’d never really get away with at any other time of the year. Summer is a time of whimsical dressing, and I firmly believer that we have to savour these moments while we can.
Speaking of Summer, I hope you’re all enjoying the amazing weather we’re having here in Ireland, long live the sunshine!!
Happy Shopping,

Great look Ciara! You’re so rightβ¦ there is something so effortlessly chic about breton stripes! I got a white waistcoat like yours 2 weeks ago and have already worn it in loads of different ways! I love itβ¦ it just goes with so much! I also have your MK watch tooβ¦ isn’t it fab? Feels amazing on the wrist π
