This year I have officially fallen in love with Breton stripes. I’ve mentioned it on the blog a few times before now, but stripes are such a simple, staple piece to have in your wardrobe. Now when I see a nice version online or in a shop, I find it hard not to purchase! I always end up justifying it because they get so much wear in my wardrobe, especially on those casual days when I still want to look chic. I’ve been lusting after this J-Crew version for the past few days, the quality looks fantastic!
I’m wearing my stripes with a pretty simple look, a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and some simple nude courts, which, to be fair, I would definitely have to switch up for flats if I was doing any milage in this outfit! I’m also really loving small crossbody bags lately, I think they look so much cuter than those big “everything-but-the-kitchen-sink” numbers. Unfortunately practically and a busy schedule often calls for those big bags (I’m currently on the hunt for the perfect carry-all style actually) so its a real treat to prance around with a tiny purse on those days where all I need with me is my phone, wallet, keys, and some lipstick!
In other news, I have a very busy day ahead of me. I have a meeting with Hunter PR about an exciting event I’m going to be hosting in the future, a mini-shoot with Elle Magazine, (yes, you heard me right!) and then I’m off to the Ultimate Girls Day Out in the RDS to do some filming for my fashion show with SHEmazing TV. It’s definitely going to be one of those carry-all bag kinda days after all 🙂 Hoping you all have a fantastic weekend!
Happy Shopping,
