….. Knit co-ords, and bomber jackets. That’s pretty-much what I lived in over the past few days, and I loved it. Hey, if you can’t do it at Chrstmas, then when can you?!

Myself and Yoseph shot this look just before we left for Galway a few days ago, which is funny as this is the type of outfit I have been wearing non-stop over the Christmas break! I love how comfy this rib-knit co-ord is, I think I need one in every colour. Perfect for staying cosy while working from home, or on those chill days when comfort is key. I’m also having a love-affair with bomber jackets right now, particularly the satin variety. I picked up this khaki bomber online recently, as well as this cute puffier style which I’m excited to shoot for the blog soon.
And just like that, Christmas is over guys, where did it go?!! I feel like it goes by quicker every year. This one was particularly special for my family, as it was our first one with the newest generation of O’Doherty’s… my baby niece Rebecca! She’s almost a year old now and she really is the most perfect thing, we’re all completely obsessed with her, haha! This year I decided to take a little break from posting on social media over the Christmas period, to recharge my batteries and really focus on family and friends. You may have spotted the few posts over on my instagram (did you catch this one about my travel plans in February?) but other than that, things we’re pretty quiet online. I have to say, it was a really nice feeling not having my phone in my hand 24/7, I’d recommend trying it out every once in a while!
Anyhow, despite having some major Christmas withdraws being back at my desk in Dublin today (waaaah!) I am excited to resume regular posting on my blog and social pages again. We’ve not quite reached new year yet (only a few more days now!) but I am SO excited for 2016. I have so many plans and projects that I can’t wait to share with you all, I think it’s going to be the best one yet! I’ll be publishing my usual year-in-review post in the next few days, which is always an honest look at the past 12 months. You can check out last year’s one here if you haven’t seen it before. I’ll also be sharing some fun blog-related news, so you’ll know what to expect from this little blog of mine in the coming year. Exciting times ahead!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, really and truly I mean that. Christmas means something different to us all, and I hope each and every one of you had some special moments. And if you are still on your Christmas break (you lucky thing!) then enjoy it, and have a glass of vino for me!
Lots of Love,
Ciara x
