This Sunday I spent a wonderful day with fellow fashion fiends Leanne, Sarah and Holly shooting looks, making plans, and enjoying the Spring sunshine. It really was one of those perfect Spring days, and it’s got me even more excited for Summertime, if that’s humanly possible.
The first look we shot is this double denim ensemble, or as some like to call it, the ol’ Canadian Tuxedo. I know the thought of double denim can strike fear into the heart of many a fashion-enthusiast, (who could forget that epic Britney n’ Justin ensemble?) but this combo is a huge trend for Spring Summer, so I was only dying to try it out.
These warehouse flares were the perfect starting point for the outfit, and I dug out this Penneys shirt out from the back of my wardrobe and hey, presto ~ a Canadian tuxedo! I love how effortless an outfit like this looks on, even the slight rumples in the shirt add to the cool-girl vibe of the look. Such is my new love for denim shirts, I ordered this boyfriend style from ASOS immediately afterwards, here’s hoping its as comfy as it looks! This gorgeous Missguided sleeveless coat was they perfect outer layer because, lets face it, it’s still fairly nippy out!
