We have been having an unexpected burst of good weather in early September, and I am trying to take advantage of it as best I can, before we are banished to the winter months! This is a very simple outfit, but I love the tough look of the biker skirt combined with the simplicity of the teeshirt. It’s also the first time I’ve featured my gold Rebel pendant from Stella&Dot, which was a very thoughtful gift from my boyfriend. I wear this pendant SO much, and I have been shamelessly eyeing up the rose gold version too!
I always love the idea of a fresh start, and September is a month that really gives me those feelings. It must be the memories of my school/college days, when my idea of a new year was in Autumn, with the start of a new school term. Getting the chance to begin again, with renewed strength and fresh perspective, well it always just made me feel excited and hopeful for the future. I am such a dreamer at heart, and I love planning, plotting and scheming about all the wonderful things I want to do and achieve, and this September is no different. After a Summer full of big changes and a lot of hard work, I am so excited about the next few months. I have made some more big decisions regarding my work life recently which will result in a lot of changes, but I feel like I am ready for them. I know I’m sounding terribly cryptic, but I can’t say too much about it now, but all will be revealed soon, and needless to say, Im majorly excited to bring you all on this journey through my blog.
