Denim is a staple in pretty much everyone’s wardrobes at this point, and for me a great quality denim is SO important. It washes so much better and will last in my wardrobe overtime, so it makes sense to invest a little bit more in the right brand. I have a few brands that I always turn to for great quality jeans and denim that wont cost the earth, so today I am doing a little breakdown of the denim heroes in my wardrobe.
What’s in my wardrobe:
Denim jackets:
A summertime staple, denim jackets will work with pretty much any outfit. They’re perfect for throwing on over a summer dress for added warmth, and if you’re going away on a trip they’re great as an additional layer in the airport which you can also use as a light coverup in the evenings while away. These are the two I have in my wardrobe:

Levis Ribcage:
The Ribcage range is by far my new favourite Levis jean style, so much so that I have picked up the same style in four different washes. It’s very much a vintage-style, super high rise but with the button fastens instead of a zipper, which I absolutely love as it just hugs you in more and gives a great shape. This is a denim style that looks just as good dressed up with heels and a blazer as it does dressed down with a tee and sneakers. See my current favourite wash below:

Levis Wedgie Fit:
Another style I’ve loved from Levis is the wedgiet fit. They are cut in such a way that the bum part is nicely snug and has a really flattering effect, without being uncomfortable. It does not feel like a wedgie, I promise! I have a few washes of these in my wardrobe, including the shorts styles which I love:
Lee Jeans:
A new addition to my denim wardrobe, I tried out the below pair of Lee jeans recently and was super impressed with the quality of denim and the fit these gave. They’re a more snug fit but I love the high waist and button fasteners.
