Sometimes I find myself rooting endlessly through my wardrobe looking for something simple. No patterns, no crazy colours, just that perfect simple piece to tie my whole outfit together. This problem has made realise that I need to invest in “basics” more.
Maybe it’s my sense of style evolving, or maybe I’m just growing up, but I find myself currently on the hunt for some basic, good quality pieces, such as a fail-safe white tee in a great fabric, the soft cashmere sweater that will go with everything, or that loose knit that you can throw on just for comfort, yet still look chic.
I have created a little wish-list of some really beautiful basic pieces, that are inter-changable, and completely versatile. All of the tops are from Pure Collection, a website that boasts the most beautiful 100% Cashmere pieces. Yes, I know cashmere pieces can be expensive, but you’ll be happy to know that they are having a great sale at the moment, so investing in that perfect cashmere basic is now even more affordable.
The bottoms I have chosen from Romwe, an online shop which I’m sure you all know by now is one of my favourites. Apart from stocking some really quirky designs which I love, these are three basic pieces which will go with just about anything in my wardrobe.
Paired with some funky accessories, these 6 neutral separates could be styled into an endless amount of fabulous outfits ~ it’s all about putting your own spin on them, right?!
