As a rebellion against the current Irish weather (go home May, you’re drunk) I am sharing this summery style diary I shot with Sean recently, and also to remind myself that Ireland can be sunny sometimes.
This is my ultimate summer outfit, although I would probably swap the platforms for converse if I wanted to get any real mileage out of it. I picked up this suede skirt in H&M recently after seeing so many people raving about it online, and unfortunately its sold out now, but I have linked some similar versions above. I especially love this Glamorous one, its almost identical, and a great price too.
Off the shoulder tops (also coined “Bardot” tops after uber-babe Brigitte Bardot who always wore them) are huge this summer, and I for one am slightly obsessed. They’re super flattering, as they showcase an area which is often our slimmest part; our shoulders and collarbone. This particular style is from Motel, but there are absolutely loads of versions available online, from lacy, sleeved, to striped.
I also wore the floral skinny scarf in this post today to a meeting in Kildare Village (in an all-black look) and I’m surprised at how versatile an accessory it is. Its also an absolute steal at six euro also, happy days!
Bohemian outfits like these are getting me SO excited for my holiday at the end of the month, (read more about that here) and I’ve already started planning more looks to wear this skirt and top with separately. Stay tuned for more holiday fashion posts coming soon!
