A few weeks ago I had my fourth slot with Ireland AM, with the Zipyard Ireland. The Zipyard are a specialist clothing alterations boutique with branches all over the country, and this was my second time working with them. Our first slot together went really well, and in this segment we wanted to showcase their re-styling service for formal dresses, as debs season is upon us. So myself and Alba (from the brand) chose six plain-looking dresses from charity shops, to be completely restyled by the Zipyard’s in-house seamstresses, using inspiration from the latest celebrity red-carpet looks.
As always, we had so much fun putting the looks together, and the live broadcast went SO well. The dresses really came to life on-screen, and it was easy for the viewer to see the transformation. Presenting wise, I feel like I’m really getting into the swing of these live slots I’m beginning to love the live element more than pre-recordings, which is a little crazy, I know!
If you haven’t seen the slot yet, you can check it out below, I’d love to know what you think!
You can also check out the before shots of the garments below, to see just how much work the Zipyard did in restyling them.
