One of the biggest trends of the season…

…the prince of wales check blazer has to be one of my favourite mini-trends to come out of AW17. It’s incredibly easy to style and smartens up just about any outfit.  I’ve picked up two different versions since the season has started, and I wear them constantly! They’re perfect for casual days with jeans and a teeshirt, but they also looks great in dressed-up outfits too.

My favourite version I’ve bought has to be this prince of wales check blazer from Mango which I have been getting so much wear out of since I bought it, the fit is perfect and the quality is great!

I also picked up this more affordable version from Missguided which is a lighter fabric, but still fits nicely, and nails the trend.

How to wear it:

• Choose a slightly oversized or boyfriend fit blazer for a flattering look.
• Wrap a chunky belt around the waist to add definition (I’ve picked up both this belt and this belt for just that)
• Pair with a black slip dress and ankle boots for a chic date night look
• Wear with distressed denim and a logo tee for a casual yet on-trend AW look
