I was a bit sheepish of wearing over the knee boots for quite some time, seen as there is something that feels rather brazen about them, if styled the wrong way. I have come to absolutely love them however, and now they are one of my winter wardrobe staples for sure. I picked this pair up in River Island last year on sale, and I have really enjoyed styling them into different looks, I’m actually surprised they never made it onto the blog until now! I prefer wearing them with tights, especially in the wintertime for added warmth and comfort, but also because I think it makes them a bit more daytime appropriate, don’t you?
I been lusting after the Mista “Emi” over the knee boots for the longest time now, they are the nicest thigh-highs I’ve seen to date, plus they look super comfortable also! Perfect for stomping around the streets of Dublin on wintery days π If you haven’t taken the plunge and tried an over the knee boot yet, then I strongly recommend it. It’s such a fun look to play with, and if done right, it can look effortlessly chic. I think it’s important to be a bit daring with your fashion choices now and again, just to shake things up a bit!
