The Edit: All-White Everything

The Edit: All-White Everything
The perfect white shorts // flower appliqué // white sportswear // chic heels // rails of ivory  // the ever-popular skort // dainty underwear // gold accents
I must admit, white is a colour that I was afraid of for a very long time, spillage-fears and grass-stains had me sticking to my darker colours, but this summer something changed. Seeing the all-white ensembles on the catwalks and magazines, coupled with the amazing Summer we have been having here in Ireland, has led me to try it out. White makes you look so effortlessly elegant and chic, not to mention more tanned and toned, whats not to love?
If you’re skittish about the trend, start off with just one white piece, and team it with a strong colour or bright print to set it off, or be bold and go for an all-white ensemble and prepare to turn heads. Accessories are best left to minimal, gold jewellery, such as a chunky watch and some layered dainty gold chains. See my jewellery wish-list here for some inspiration.
If you need anymore convincing as to just how good all-white-everything can be, then take a look at this amazing video, a promotional clip for Dublin’s newest club-night, Church. Its positively heavenly, and features designs from Leanne Keogh and Olwyn Kelly, both NCAD graduates.
