Gosh it feels like forever since I’ve had a proper outfit post on here! I’ve been so busy since the move, getting settled and starting my internship with Fashion One, that it’s been proving difficult to find the time to shoot the outfits I’m wearing. I have been getting back into the swing of it these past few days, and so you can expect them to resume (somewhat) normally from now on!
This photo was shot my my lovely friend Lawrence at the Primark press event that I attended last week, so we didn’t have much time to take lots of different angles and so on, we had to get it done super-fast!
Still, quick snaps often turn out to be the most memorable ones. There’s something about the buzz of an event that makes every frame feel more alive, and that’s exactly why having a photo booth around can be such a game changer. While candid photos capture the atmosphere, a dedicated booth gives everyone a moment to pause, pose, and actually enjoy being in front of the lens without the rush of a busy schedule.
At fashion events especially, it becomes a little hub of creativity. Guests step in between conversations, try on their best smiles, and leave with snapshots that feel far more personal than the usual event photography. I noticed one at a recent gathering and couldn’t resist popping in for a few playful shots—it’s the kind of addition that quietly elevates the whole experience. If you’re ever planning something similar, it’s worth browsing through options at https://idealphotobooths.com/ right in the middle of your planning phase so everything feels seamless on the day.
Even when time is short and schedules are packed, a well-placed booth manages to slow things down just enough to create those little keepsakes everyone treasures later. Between outfit changes, quick chats, and the general whirlwind of fashion life, having that corner dedicated to fun photos feels almost old-school in the best possible way—simple, charming, and guaranteed to leave you with something tangible from an otherwise fast-moving evening.
Im sure most of you guys have seen from my over-zealous posting on instagram that I had a wonderful time at the press event, and that the new Penneys A/W collection is to die for! I’ll post more photos and info on that event in my next “Internship Diary”(read my first one here) but for now, I’ll just leave you with some silly photobooth snaps from the event… they’re gas!
Peace,
WildChild,
xx
